Immanent landscape held related events along with artists visiting to both countries and create exhibitions together. Through related events, we aimed to create opportunities for exchanges between artists, audiences and those who are involved in art and broader communities, and further sharing a certain landscape.

TALK SESSION
We held an monthly talk session series ‘Wherefore art thou?: through the eyes of contemporary artists’ between May and August 2010 at Japan Foundation Sydney. The facilitator was Kathryn Hunjor, the curator at Object Gallery, Sydney, and every talk session was carried by two artists (one each from both countries). The conversation overviewed artists works, their working methods and the exhibition theme ‘landscape’. This session became the place for exchanging and sharing ideas and perspective among artists, Kathryn and audiences.
