内在の風景

artist-in-residency

Japanese

When artworks are created with the theme of ‘landscape’, the artists’ surrounding environments will be reflected on the works. Simultaneously, wherever the artists are, there will be also some elements that can be always recognized in their artworks. Residency and Research opportunities helped artists to engage with landscapes, in broader sense, in both countries.

In 2011, Australian artists expressed their experiences in Japan in their artwork, and reflecting their own unique perspective onto ‘landscape’.
