They are noted and imaged by Utako Shindo and her \u2018friends&#8217;: Agnes Martin, Linda Swanson, Max Baseman,\u00a0Nick Terry, Yuko Kawakita, Michael Diaz (and more to come and go).<\/li>\n<li>Shindo is an artist, working in the poetics of untranslatability.<\/li>\n<li>The room welcomes notes and translations in Japanese which is Shindo\u2019s mother tongue. Translation of quotes and friends\u2019 notes is by Michiyo Miyake with Nicholas Marshall (<a href=\"https:\/\/uguisute.com\"><em>uguisu<\/em><\/a>).<\/li>\n<li>The title photo is by Max Baseman.
